Made in the 1950's, this piece has a wonderful print of ears of wheat in bright red on a white ground with very fine black dots. It is such a vibrant, eye catching, print.
Due to some of the style details on the piece I believe this was originally a robe which someone has converted into a dress. It has a large collar, neat shoulder pads, waist insert and nice full skirt. It is made from crisp cotton and would be lovely and cool for the summer.
This will best fit up to a 38-32-42 however, to ensure it will fit you properly, please compare the measurements below to a similar piece you already own;
Flat bust 20.5"
Flat waist 16"
Flat hips 24"
Shoulders between sleeves 15"
Shoulder to waist 16.5"
Shoulder to hem 47"
Underarm sleeve length 12.5"
Very good. The only point to note is that there are a few small rust marks on the back of the collar.
The dress has been washed, pressed and is ready to wear.
