This pretty little dress is so much better in person than it shows in the photos.
Made in the 1950's from crisp cotton it has a pale pin base and ice blue plaid woven into the fabric.
With a button bodice, metal side zip, smart collar, cuffed sleeves, broad pleated skirt and original belt, it is a classic piece of the era.
Looks great worn with petticoats.

Condition
Good with the following minor points to note;
- slight discolouration on the belt, as can be seen in the photos
- very, very faint marks on the left sleeve - I've tried to show them in photos
- light discolouration along the shoulders from hanger storage
