This wonderful dress and coat set were made in the 1950's.
The dress is made from textured white silk and has a pretty floral print in black and pink. It features a fitted bodice with paste trim around the neck opening. The skirt is full and has pockets and the piece closes with a metal back zip.
The matching coat is made from sheer nylon. It has short sleeves and is much fuller than the dress.
A stunning set.

The dress will fit up to a 35-26-42 but to ensure that it will fit you properly, please compare the measurements below to a similar piece you already own;

Condition
Good with the following points to note;
- the set smells of perfume, but this will disappear with wear - it smelt a lot more when it arrived with me but has aired a lot
- the coat has a small patch under the left arm
- main issue is seam stress at the waist on all seams - because the fabric is pale the issue isn't seen until you look at the piece closely. Because of this it is for a 26" waist maximum as you won't want to put any more stress on the fabric.
Still a stunning set, which are becoming harder to find.
