This wonder set was made in the 1950's.
Made from medium weight cotton the dress has a fitted bodice with pleated bust and wide straps. The skirt is finely gathered at the waist and the bodice top is bound with soft yellow grosgrain and the dress comes with the original belt and fastens with a long side zip-which is a replacement.
The bolero is simple in design and has a fitted waist with a little tie front.
Measurements
The dress will fit up to a maximum 36" bust and up to a 28" waist. However, to ensure the it will fit you properly, please compare the measurements below to a similar piece you already own;
Bust up to 36" but please note the yellow grosgrain band that sits above your bust has no stretch and measures 33 1/4" round

Condition
Good with the following points to note;
- there is a 3mm darn in the front waist insert
- some of the stitching on the band around the top of the dress is a little messy
- main issue is a print fault in the fabric which appears in the front of the skirt-see photo-because it has a busy print it is only seen on close inspection
- the zip is a replacement and someone has added stiffener to the edges
