This is such a neat little hat.
Made in the 1950's, the front of this half hat is covered with ruched bands of cotton velvet in lavender and purple. The back of the piece is covered with lavender coloured feathers and a large velvet bow in the darker shade of velvet. The colours make this hat the perfect accessory to wear with a cheerful floral frock!

Measurements
It is on the larger side and needs to be worn on a 22"/23" head but no smaller or it will fall off
Widest point across the top 6"
Condition
Good with minor points to note;
- there was originally a net on this piece and there are fragments of it underneath the back bow
- there are a few feathers missing, mostly towards the front of the piece - see photos
- some small marks on the inner, but these aren't seen when worn
