This fabulously vibrant day dress was made in the 1950's and is just perfect for the summer.
Made from medium weight crisp cotton it has a white base with a bold stripe print of squiggles and vibrant cherries in pink and turquoise blue.
It has a close fitting bodice and features pointed cuffs and is finished off perfectly with a wide collar. It fastens down the left side with a long zip - please note this is a replacement.
Measurements
The dress will best fit up to a 35-26-38 but to ensure that it will fit you properly, please compare the measurements below to a similar piece you already own;
Flat bust 18"

Shoulder to waist 15.5"

Fullness of skirt at hem 90"
Condition
Good with the following minor points to note:
- belt loops but no belt
- the zip is a modern replacement and someone has added a much longer one than the dress would have originally had - not a fault, as it actually makes getting into the dress easier, but it is a point to note
- slight discolouration on the collar
- a few small faint marks in the skirt that won't photograph properly
- wear at the top of the zip - see photo
- a single black mark on the front hem - see photo
