This gorgeous dress was made in the 1950's and is labelled Philip Kunick.
Double layered, the base is made from artificial silk and the top layer is sheer Nylon which is covered with a flocked flower print in black and white.
A classic shaped piece of the era, it has a fitted bodice, three quarter length sleeves and a full skirt. It has a metal side zip.
It is labelled as a size 46 hip and will fit a 42"/44" bust but to ensure that it will fit you properly, please compare the measurements below to a similar piece you already own;
Flat bust 22"
Flat waist 18.5"
Flat hip 27"
Shoulders between sleeves 15.5"
Shoulder to waist 16"
Underarm sleeve length 11"
Very good with three minor points to note;
- a single pinhead hole in the over-skirt, but this is only seen on close inspection
- minor flock loss under the arms
- belt loops but no belt
