This piece was made in the 1950's.

The main body of the hat is made from nylon which has been made to look like straw. The edge is trimmed with a graduating band of inky black velvet and the top is trimmed with two stuffed velvet bobbles.

 

Measurements

Inner band 20.5" - this will work on a 22" head

Front to back across the top of the piece 11"

Side to side across the top of the piece 12"

 

Condition

Good. Has some slight discolouration on the inner.
