This fabulous dress is so Barbie!
I purchased it from a lady who went to school in the USA in the 1960's and wore it in a school play and she loved the piece so much she never returned it. It has a two sticky labels on the inner marked 'Jacquelyn Price Hand Props' and pen marked lettering of 'SEHS Drama'.
Made in the 1950's from medium weight cotton in white and pink check with black accent stitching with faggoting. It features a very close fitting bodice with a metal side zip and black trim and straps.
The skirt is full and pleated and would look great belted with lots of petticoats.
A great dress for the summer.
Please note the dress doesn't fit on my mannequin properly so looks wonky in the photos showing the back of the dress, but there is nothing wrong with the construction of the dress, it just needs to be on a smaller body.

Condition
Good with the following points to note;
- minor underarm discolouration
- there are two small breaks in the black faggoting but these are in the skirt and so only seen on close inspection
- a few spots
- two very faint lines of discolouration running down both sides of the skirt
