This gorgeous dress was made in the late 1930's or early 1940's.
Made from heavy crepe it has long sleeves with pointed detail on the cuff, a tie back belt, cross-over bodice and a long skirt which is pleated on the sides and supported on the hips to keep the fabulous silhouette with hip pads.
It fastens with an metal inset back zip.

Condition
Very good with two minor points to note;
- 2 pinhead holes near the hem
- a 1cm darn on the waist insert, left hand side just below the bust
