This is a very pretty reverse carved Lucite brooch set within a celluloid frame.

Made in the 1950s, most likely in France, it fastens with a trombone clasp a features a little flower spray in white. Originally it has a pink shiny back but the centre part has been damaged and isn't there any more, although some of the pink remains around the edge.

Measurements

Length 1 3/4"

Condition

Good, as mentioned above the pink backing is missing in part. The brooch also has some minor surface scratches, as happens with brooches of this kind.
