This is a weighty piece of reverse carved Lucite. Made in France in the 1950s, it is a classic design featuring an oval piece of Lucite set in a metal frame and depicting a spray of roses in white. It has the initial A carved into the design. It is a beautifully made piece which fastens with a trombone clasp.
It is a heavy piece of jewellery and so not suited to a lightweight fabric and would definitely sit better on a jacket or coat.
