This beautiful little topper hat was made in the late 1930's or early 1940's.

Made from straw it features a close fitting skull cap onto which a neat little topper with compact crown and upturned brim has been attached. 

The brim is edged with dusky pink grosgrain and the same banding goes around crown. The design is finished off perfectly with a neat little cluster of fabric flowers.
