This fabulous suit is just perfect for the summer.

Made in the late 1940's or early 1950's by Two Steeples Ltd it is made from a lovely weighty Moygashel which is wonderfully cool for the warmer months.

The skirt is slim fitting and has little slits on each side at the hem. It has a stiffened waistband and fastens with two hooks at the waist and metal poppers down the side opening.

The jacket is beautifully tailored, has a neat collar, two oversized buttons, three quarter length sleeves and has a tie belt. Neither piece is lined.

This will fit up to a 33-25-34 maximum but to ensure that it will fit you properly, please compare the measurements below to a similar piece you already own;

Condition

Very good. Only a few minor points to note;

- on the jacket, someone has moved the popper to make it smaller and there is a mark where the original popper was

- a small mark on the front of the right hand side of the jacket, about 4mm - see photo

- a couple of small pinhead marks - I can't tell if they are dye spots or marks but they are minor
