This stylish suit was made in America in the late 1940's.
A wonderful lightweight suit it is made from textured cotton in a slate grey blue with a slight fleck.
It features a long-line slim fitting skirt which fastens with a plastic button and metal side zip. The jacket is single breasted, close fitting with shoulder pads to give you the iconic silhouette of the era, fastens with pretty blue buttons, has a neat collar and pretty tab detail on the right front and left hip. Both pieces are unlined.
A gorgeous suit in a timeless design.
Measurements
The suit will fit up to a 40-32-42 depending what you intend to wear underneath it. However, to ensure that it will fit you properly, please compare the measurements below to a similar piece you already own;

Condition
Very good with the following minor points to note;
- on the left bodice, there are three small marks beside the buttons - these are not seen when the jacket is fastened
- on the left bodice there is a small mark on the front bust area - see photo
- on the right bodice, there is a mark beside the middle button
It looks like the marks were all caused by previous buttons which I'm assuming were metal.
