This piece was made in the late 1940's or early 1950's and carries the CC41 label at the neck.
Made from taffeta in an off-white it is printed with a bold floral design in muted shades of orange and yellow with black.
Zip fronted bodice with a fabric covered pull, it has deep pointed cuffs on the sleeve edge, a broad collar, fastens on the left side with a metal zip and has a sweeping skirt.
Please note I found the belt for this piece once the photographs had been taken. The black belt shown in the photographs is not included with the dress, you'll receive the original belt, as shown in the final photograph.

Condition
Very good with some minor points to note;
- when held up to the light I found 2 pinhead holes in the skirt
- there are some marks on the belt
- main issues is some staining on the shoulders and across the back of the bodice - they look like watermarks - I've washed the dress once and they lifted but didn't disappear completely. With further soaking they may lift completely but because of the design and pattern they are only really seen on close inspection
