This necklace was most likely made in the mid 20th Century where this style of jewellery because a popular tourist piece for people to bring home from their travels.
Made from carved bovine bone it features a screw clasp, teeny carved beads and then 5 wonderfully detailed gentian violet flowers in graduated sizes.
Brooches of this design come up for sale quite regularly but the necklaces are harder to find, especially with more than one droplet.
