Made in the 1950's, this piece is made from a medium weight wool in dark blue.
A very stylish piece, it is an edge to edge design with simple vertical pleats down the front edges. It is fully lined in blue satin and has a label "All Wool and Worsted Made In England" but no actual maker's label.
There is a large hook and eye at the waist which just keeps the coat closed but I'm not sure it is original to the coat. I've left it there for the buyer to decide whether they want to keep it or not.
Measurements
It isn't meant to be super close fitting so you'll need to be at least 2" smaller in the bust than the measurements given if you want the coat to hang as it is meant to.

Condition
Very good with just a few minor points to note;
- there is some light discolouration under the arms in the lining
- there are a couple of scuffs in the lining
- there are some faint marks on the back of the coat on the left seat. I have lightened the photo to show them but they are not this obvious in real life
