This pretty dress, made in the late 1930's or early 1940's, is made from lightweight cotton in charming checks of red, white and green.
Featuring a button front bodice, which is meant to be worn loose, smart sleeves with neat cuffs, pretty green buttons and tucks on the shoulders, the skirt is slim fitting and has two oversized patched pockets. It has a side zip and would look great belted.
Although it is lightweight so would need to be layered up for winter, it is the perfect festive frock!
