This piece has been hand knitted from an original 1938 knitting pattern.
Knitted to match the colours used in the original from the time, it has been knitted in Cascade 220 fingering pure wool in shades called Sunflower and Ginger.
A beautiful knit it has contrast rib detail worked in Ginger with the main body worked in Sunflower. A smart square neckline with full sleeves, with gathered tops, it has a "diamond" shaped pattern which gives lovely texture to the knit.
The wool used is very fine and works really well with vintage patterns making this an authentic replica or a 1930s knit.
Measurements
The knit is meant to be close fitting but not tight or you loose the texture of the design. Best suited to a 34" bust but will stretch to a 36" bust maximum. It is shown, unpinned, on a 33" mannequin. To make sure this will fit you properly please compare the measurements below to a similar garment you already own.
