This piece has been entirely hand knitted from an original 1940's knitting pattern.
A close fitting piece with a neat rib welt and yoke, the piece has a pretty design in stripes and slip stitches and fastens on the left shoulder with two faceted plastic buttons.
The base shade is Cherry Red by Sirdar, which is a 50% wool, 50% acrylic mix. The accent stripes are worked in Burnt Orange, which is also a Sirdar shade and then Ivy and Dune, both of which are King Cole Merino Blend which is 100% pure wool.
It is an authentic reproduction of an original 1940's knit.
The colours are truest in the close up photo of the design.
Measurements
It will best fit a 34" bust but to ensure it will fit you properly, please compare the measurements below to a similar piece you already own.
Flat bust 16" stretching to 17" - there is more give to the design but if it becomes overstretched the design doesn't look as good
