This piece has been made, not by me, from an original 1940's dressmaking pattern using a gorgeous 1940's rayon fabric in pretty floral print of blue, green, white and pink.
The dress features a smooth fitting bodice with a pleated skirt. It has wonderfully full long sleeves with button cuffs and has a neat turn back collar which is trimmed with two large decorative buttons. The piece fastens on the left side with a metal zip and has a stiffened belt which has an original 1940's buckle and fastens with silver-tone poppers.

Condition
New and never worn but the fabric has some minor marks, mostly lost within the print, but can be seen a bit more prominently on the back bodice.
