This piece has been entirely hand knitted from an original 1940s Bestway knitting pattern.
Worked in Stylecraft Bellissima DK in a shade called Mellow Yellow, it is 100% acrylic making it perfect for those who can’t wear wool. It is a thick, quite chunky wool. Beautifully shaped, it has broad rib which gives a close fit, cable yoke and sleeves in a broad shoulder design giving the classic 1940s silhouette - it is finished with a neat collar.
Measurements
It has a decent amount of ease so will fit a variety of sizes. It’s meant to be close fitting on the bodice.
