This piece has been entirely hand knitted from an original 1940's knitting pattern.
A classic jumper of the era it has a deep welt and smooth fitting body which starts off in red and then is worked in narrow stripes of red and blue before the yoke is worked in a pretty blue. The sleeves are very very full, as was common during the early 1940's. It fastens on the shoulder with two original 1940's buttons.
The base shade is Ruby Red and the accent is worked in Niagra Blue and the wool is Cascade 220 fingering which is a fine 4 ply pure wool.
It is an authentic reproduction of an original 1940's knit.
