This piece has been hand knitted from an original 1940's wartime knitting pattern. Charming stripes of Silver, Heather, Raspberry and Cream, it has been knitted using Stylecraft 4 ply Life, which is a 25% wool 75% acrylic mix which is really soft to the touch and very slightly fluffy. It fastens on the left shoulder with faceted buttons and has a neat little bow at the neck.
The colours are truest in the final photo.

This knit has a reasonable amount of ease so will fit a variety of sizes from a 38" bust up to a 42".
