These charming inky black suede court shoes were made in the 1940's and are the perfect wardrobe staple for the vintage lover.
Made by Portland and labelled wide fitting on the inner, they are the classic shape of the era with the neat rounded tow and small, block, heel. They have a neat little trim in the front made from pleats of suede.
A timeless design.
These are labelled as a 3.5 and are meant to be wide fitting. However, to ensure that they will fit you properly, please compare the measurements below to a similar pair you already own;
Length along the inner 9 1/8"
Widest point on the sole 3 1/4"
Heel height 1 3/4"
Structurally very good, they appear to have had new heels at some points as there is very little wear to the heels. Minor points to note are;
- there are some marks on the inners
- light marking on the soles
- there are some marks on the suede, as so often happens - please see photos - most rubbing/marking is on the outer of the left shoe
