This charming silver sweetheart brooch would look great on the lapel of a jacket but is also teeny enough to wear at the neck of a blouse.

Made in the late Victorian or early Edwardian era. It is fully hallmarked but, oddly, the clasp has been attached to the brooch where the date letter would be. The only clear marks are the maker's mark G.L and the anchor so I can't accurately date this with a specific year.
