This wonderful hat was made in the 1940's.
Made from inky black felt it is very shaped and has been cleverly designed to sit on the right hand side of your head. It has a very high front and is trimmed with a band of woven felt and then an oversized bow in the back.
A classic piece of the era.

Good with some minor points to note;
- a spot of moth grazing on the back of the piece - the grazing is to the nap and has not gone into holes
- the twisted felt running around the edge has a small section missing in the back
