This is a lovely example of a badge worn by the Women's Land Army.
The central detail inside the circlet shows a sheath of wheat in raised detail superimposed over a green enamel background. The badge is surmounted by a King's crown coloured with red enamel.
Unlike the more common examples of the WLA badge, this one doesn't have the pin but has loops which were to be sewn onto a garment or hat.
Very good, only minor wear.
