This is an exceptional hat.
Labelled "Lillian B Smith" it is made from fine straw in inky black. It has a shallow, close fitting crown which is designed to hug your head and a huge, oversized sweeping brim. The underside of the brim is trimmed with velvet ribbon in vibrant shades of purple, cerise and ochre. The crown is trimmed with ochre and cerise twisted velvet bands and ochre flowers.
Definitely a statement piece!
Measurements
It only sits no the back section of your head and the inner on that measures 20.5" but the hat will work on up to a 22" head and there is a hat elastic to help keep it in place.
