Please note that these are wounded but wearable. In their heyday they would have been an incredible pair of shoes but time has not been kind and now they need to find a home with a true vintage lover who doesn't mind some imperfections!
Made by Russell and Bromley in the 1930s, they are made from dark brown leather and suede with cut work detail across the top. They have a medium height heel which makes them really comfortable to wear.
They came to me in a collection of shoes from one lady and she was a size 6 and these appear to be the same size but to ensure they will fit you properly please compare the measurements below to a similar pair you already own;
Length 10 1/4" but please note this is right into the point of the toe where you toes will not be so you need to be about 1/2" shorter in the foot than this measurements
Widest point on the sole 3 1/8"
Vamp 5 1/2"
Heel 1 3/4"
Wounded but definitely still have some life left in them. Please note the following;
- scuffs! Please look at the photos carefully to ensure you are happy. There are scuffs on the toes and on the heels and a few marks on the main body of the shoes
- it would appear a mouse has had a very minor snack on them as there are some nibbles on the outer edge of the left shoe
- wear on the inner
- wear on the soles, although they have been re-heeled and soled at some point to still have lots of life left in them
- on the front of the left shoe, by the laces, there are three broken "strap" sections. The shoes still hold well.
- minor marks on the suede
