This piece is very much a wounded but wearable item. There is lots of life left in it, if treated carefully, but it is not in great shape so if you are looking for perfect, this piece is not for you.
Made in the 1940's from wonderfully soft silk in a deep forest green, it has an off-white polka dot design. Please note the colour is a dark green, not the odd yellow tinged green my camera is picking up!
A good amount of cloth in this piece there is plenty to tie into a headscarf with a bow or it will look great worn as a neck tie.
Measurements
Length along the sides 35"
Condition
Fair/poor. This piece has a number of issues with it, and it is very much a wounded but wearable. It is made from the finest silk and has a number of pulls and seam stresses and two corners have significant damage. However, there is so much fabric here you'll still be able to use it as a necktie or headscarf.
